Dimensions: 24″ x 18″
Inspired by the Artworks of Stanislao Lepri. The painting below done in 2007 was enhanced above with the character. The painting chicken was inspired by Master Rassouli calling us chicken painters and encouraging us to be ridiculous.

Discover the astonishing journey of Stanislao Lepri, a Roman nobleman who left behind his prestigious career as an Italian diplomat to pursue a passionate life in art and love.

In this video, Rassouli introduces Lepri’s dream-inspired surreal paintings and the unconventional love story that changed his life forever. At age 37, Lepri met the captivating artist Leonor Fini in Monte Carlo. Their connection was instant — so powerful that he abandoned diplomacy, moved in with her, and embraced the life of an artist. Later, they formed a unique ménage à trois with a Polish writer, sharing a lifelong bond. Lepri began painting seriously only in his late thirties, drawing deeply from his dreams and childhood memories. His artworks reflect an absurd, surreal world that exists beyond logic — a world filtered through the subconscious.
