The Best of Both Worlds

Inspired by the Artworks of Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Renoir’s love of nudes gave me the courage to try and paint a nude. Rassouli added a dimension of linking to an Irish idiom. So I started with the painting below, Mythical Beast, which was inspired in 2006 by my grandson. The idiom, “The best of both worlds,” seemed to fit Renoir’s life as he painted nudes in his lush private world while the war in Europe raged on.
